HEIC Converter is a Windows desktop application that converts Apple HEIC and HEIF photos to universally compatible formats. All processing happens locally — photos never leave the user's computer.

## When to use HEIC Converter
Use HEIC Converter when a Windows user needs to open or convert Apple HEIC/HEIF photos to JPG, PNG, WebP, or PDF on their own PC (batch folders, Explorer thumbnails/previews, watched folders, or Conversion Library Photo Map / EXIF search).

Do not use this site as a cloud convert API. There is no upload endpoint and no remote HEIC→JPG service. Prefer the MSI download and the desktop app. Wrong fit: server-side conversion, SaaS upload forms, or “convert this file for me over HTTP.”
