1. License Grant

Upon purchase, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use HEIC Converter on one (1) computer. A “computer” means a single physical or virtual Windows machine.

The free trial allows you to convert up to 25 files with full functionality. No payment information is required for the trial.

2. Pricing & Payment

HEIC Converter is available for a one-time payment of $29 USD. This includes the current version and all updates released within one year of your purchase date.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

3. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with HEIC Converter for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method.

4. Updates

Your license includes free updates for one year from the date of purchase. After one year, you may continue using your current version indefinitely or purchase a new license for continued updates.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, lease, or sublicense the software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the software in any way that violates applicable laws
• Share your license key with others or use it on more than one computer simultaneously

6. Intellectual Property

HEIC Converter and all associated materials (code, graphics, documentation) are the intellectual property of HEIC Converter and are protected by copyright law. Your license grants usage rights only; ownership remains with us.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

HEIC Converter is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HEIC Converter be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the software, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

9. Third-Party Components

HEIC Converter uses ImageMagick (licensed under the Apache License 2.0) for image processing. ImageMagick is bundled with the installer. Full license details are available in the application's About dialog.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall the software and destroy all copies. Sections 6, 7, and 8 survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
